Aside from short stories, I've also written 2 novels for young adults, a novel and a novella for adults.

Dating Superman is a novella (22,000 words) based on a true story. Sophie’s mum has just lost her job and we witness the family struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Sophie (7.5) and her younger sister, Nancy (5) are sure that their Mum is in love with their neighbour: a man who dresses as Superman, and whom the girls believe is the genuine Man of Steel. Dating Superman was shortlisted for the 2017 Signo Novella Prize.

The Talkers is a novel for young adults. After witnessing her parents’ murders, Chris seeks revenge on their killers. In a world controlled by Talkers – powerful individuals who can psychically control animals – Chris is going to need all the help she can get, but deciding who to trust is an even deadlier task... We join Chris as she learns about the dark depths of a society torn by greed and corruption. The Talkers is a gripping tale about a girl coping with loss in a world she doesn’t understand. It explores the importance of friendship and determination in the face of adversity. It was shortlisted for the $50,000 Half the World Global Literati Award in 2016.

The Happy Land  is a novel for young adults. When a man with sharp glass teeth stops time and kidnaps children from the local nursery, Derry isn’t just the only person who sees him; she’s the only person who remembers the children ever existed. Investigating, she passes through a portal and emerges in The Happy Land, a fairground in another dimension. The children seem content but Derry unearths dark secrets which lead her to believe they are being kept there against their will. The novel follows Derry as she travels between her miserable teenage world and The Happy Land in search of answers. This is a compelling page-turner full of humour, friendship and horror. It explores our shared desire for happiness, propensity for darkness and the creative potential of the human mind.

Expiration Date is a novel for adults. Details to follow...
